  • Four Indians earn postseason honors

    Four members of the Itawamba Community College’s men’s soccer picked up postseason honors with three being earning Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) All-State honors and one earning National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Region 23 recognition.

    Representing the Co-North Division champion Indians on the North All-Star team will be sophomores Colby Bogle (Tupelo), Chase Huddleston (Tupelo), Logan Little (Tupelo), and Luis Garcia (Olive Branch).

  • SCHEDULE CHANGE: Indians playoff match with Southwest moved to Wednesday

    The ICC soccer coaches announced Tuesday’s playoff matches against Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and Southwest Mississippi Community College have been moved to Wednesday due to unplayable field conditions after rains moved through the area over the weekend.

    For the ICC men’s soccer team the mission was simple– win and you’re in the playoffs. The Indians left no doubt in securing their spot in the playoffs behind an impressive second half in their 6-0 win over Northwest Mississippi Community College on Friday.

    ICC midfielder Alexis Resendiz has been named MACJC men’s soccer player of the week after scoring six goals and picking up one assist to help the Indians go 3-0 on the week.

    ICC dropped a 4-1 decision at Hinds after the Eagles were able to jump out to a quick 3-0 lead in the first half.
  • Resendiz, Koehn lead Indians past MUW

    Alexis Resendiz (Horn Lake) and Brendan Koehn (Amory) combined for four second half goals to lead the Indians to a 5-2 victory over the Mississippi University for Women Sunday.

    FULTON, Miss. – The soccer teams split a non-division doubleheader with Pearl River Community College on Wednesday. The Lady Indians dropped a 1-0 decision in overtime while the Indians held off a late rally to pick up the 3-2 victory.
