Softball to host annual Fall Softball Hitting Clinic

FULTON, Miss. – The ICC softball team will host its annual Fall Softball Hitting Clinic on Monday, October 23 and 30 and Monday, November 6 and 13 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the ICC Indoor Practice Facility on the Fulton Campus.

The Indians finished No. 6 in the country last season and has ranked amongst the nation's top teams in eight offensive categories, including: team average, hits, doubles, RBI and runs scored, for the last three years.

The clinic will provide instruction in all aspects of hitting, bunting and slapping. Instruction will include teaching fundamental aspects of the softball swing, hitting drills, hitting against machines and live pitching situations. Campers will each have the opportunity to be given a video analysis of their swing by the ICC coaching staff.

Cost of the hitting clinic is $100.00 or $25.00 per session and is limited to the first 40 campers from age 13 to high school seniors to register. Advanced registrations is required. Campers are encouraged to bring their own bat, helmet, batting gloves and turf or tennis shoes.
