Athletic Creative Content Coordinator
Cal Brown serves as the Athletic Creative Content Coordinator for Itawamba Community College. In his role with ICC Athletics, Brown is responsible for graphic design work and social media management for the college's 11 athletic programs.
Brown came to ICC after spending three years as the Lead News Reporter at the Starkville Daily News, where his duties included providing news coverage for local politics, community events and fundraisers in Oktibbeha County and surrounding areas.
As a student at ICC, Brown was a volunteer work-study student in the ICC Sports Information Department until he graduated from the college in May 2018. While he was a student at ICC, he was the first host of What A Play Wednesday presented by Renasant Bank, which debuted in 2017.
He received his A.A. degree from Itawamba Community College (2018), followed by his B.S. in Communications from Mississippi State University (2020).
He is the son of Karen Arrington and Eddie Brown, and has a brother, Davis. He is a native of Bruce.
