Indians slip to No. 8 in latest NJCAA rankings
After splitting with Calhoun (Ala.) Community College, the Indians slipped one spot to No. 8 in the latest National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DII rankings.
FULTON, Miss. – After splitting with Calhoun (Ala.) Community College, the Indians slipped one spot to No. 8 in the latest National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DII rankings.
The Indians improved to 12-2 on the season with a 12-9 Game 2 win over the Warhawks.
Region 23 opponent LSU-Eunice (20-3) took over the No. 1 spot in this week's poll. Other MACJC teams joining the Indians in the NJCAA rankings include: No. 2 Jones County (13-3); No. 5 East Central (11-1); No. 13 Hinds (10-2); No. 16 Mississippi Gulf Coast (16-2); and No. 19 Pearl River (11-3).
ICC is scheduled to open MACJC play against Gulf Coast on Saturday in Fulton – weather permitting.
