Indians win game one, tie game two at Calhoun
The Indians hit the road for the first time this season and they handled the road test in game one winning 6-0, but finished the day in a 4-4 tie after 10-innings in game two as the game was called due to darkness.

DECATUR, Ala. – The Indians hit the road for the first time this season and they handled the road test in game one winning 6-0, but finished the day in a 4-4 tie after 10-innings in game two as the game was called due to darkness.
Game 1: Indians 6, Calhoun 0
The Indians (6-1-1) took advantage of some of the home team's mistakes and plated two runs in the second as Russell Bunch (Saltillo) scored on a wild pitch and Lane Domino (Fulton) scored on a ground out.
In the fourth, the Indians added two additional runs to their lead as Jackson Lancaster (Corinth) hit a run-scoring double and Kyle Crigger (Corinth) crossed the plate on a passed ball.
Justin Medlin (Ripley) singles home a run in the sixth and LaBryant Siddell (Belden) scored on a passed ball to extend the Indians lad to 6-0.
The six runs was more than enough as Medlin picked up his first win of the year from the mound, throwing five innings of two hit baseball and striking out eight. Pate Phillips (Saltillo) came in to finish the final two frames and allowed only one hit while striking out one.
Game 2: Indians 4, Calhoun 4 (10-Innings)
After ten hard fought innings, the sun set on the day and the field that isn't equipped with lights, forcing the umpires to call the game due to safety with the game knotted at 4-4.
The Indians trailed 1-0 until they tied the game in the fifth when Caleb Whittle (Fulton) scored on a Crigger single. In the next inning, the Indians plated three runs to take a 4-1 lead as Jacob Hall (Petal) doubled home a run and Braden Ellis (Saltillo) picked up a RBI on a base hit.
Brett Coker (Hendersonville, Tenn.) scored the Indians final run on a ground out, but Calhoun answered with three run in the bottom of the sixth to tie the game at 4-4.
The Indians had a chance in the ninth but on a hard hit ball, but Calhoun were able to record the third out on the extra base hit before the run crossed the plate leaving the contest tied.
Neither team was able to push across the winning run before it was too dark to resume play. However, the teams will get another shot at each other Saturday when Calhoun comes to Fulton for a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m.
