Baseball has four sign to the next level

Evan McCarthy - University of Southern Indiana
SO - UTL - 5'11 205 - Saltillo
McCarthy led the Indians at the plate this season with 41 RBIs and 12 home runs (which tied him for the sixth most in a career with Tim Rowe – 2015-16) while recording a .337 batting average. He went 3-for-3 at the plate with two doubles and four RBIs in ICC's 9-3 win at No. 4 Jones on March 14. McCarthy joins the Screaming Eagles that are a member of both the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I.
Everett Thompson - William Carey University
SO - P - 6'2 190 - Oxford
Thompson made 12 appearances with eight starts in the 2025 season, striking out 44 batters in 39 innings of work. He averaged 10.07 strikeouts per game. His 44 strikeouts was third-best on the team. Against East Mississippi on April 9, Thompson had six strikeouts while giving up three runs on five hits in five innings of work. He joins the Crusaders that compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and are a member of the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC)
Jarrett Morris - Blue Mountain Christian University
SO - INF - 6'2 185 - Nesbit
The Nesbit native totaled 39 putouts this season, including 27 in conference play, and added eight assists while maintaining a perfect fielding percentage against MACCC opponents. Offensively, he collected 24 hits, 18 RBIs, and three stolen bases. Morris drove in three runs in the Indians' game against Coahoma on April 1. The Toppers are a member of both the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) and National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
Jud Files - Jacksonville State University
FR - P - 6'2 205 - Mooreville
In his lone season at ICC, Files set a new modern-day record for strikeouts in a single season with 108, surpassing former Indian Houston Harding's 95 from the 2018 season. He also recorded a 3.23 earned run average. He notched a career-high 13 strikeouts in ICC's 4-2 victory over No. 23 Northeast on March 26. Files' new Gamecocks team competes in Conference USA (CUSA) and is an NCAA Division I member.
