Cade Evans
Pitching Coach | Recruiting Coordinator
Cade Evans joined Itawamba Community College as pitching coach and recruiting coordinator in August 2025. Prior to ICC, he was director of player development at Arkansas State University from 2024 to 2025 and served as an assistant coach at Nicholls State University from 2023 to 2024.
Evans’s coaching highlights include helping Arkansas State win the 2024 Southland Tournament and competing in the 2024 Corvallis (Oregon State) Regional, as well as participating in the 2025 Sun Belt Tournament.
As a player, Evans was part of Auburn University’s 2018 Raleigh (NC State) Regional championship team, won the 2019 Alabama Juco State Championship, and played in the 2019 NJCAA World Series. He helped lead Nicholls State to the 2023 Southland Regular Season and Tournament Championships, closing both championship games on the mound, and competed in the 2023 Tuscaloosa (Alabama) Regional.
Evans holds an MBA from Nicholls State University (2023).
He is the son of Shelly and Jimmy Evans, has two brothers, Eli and Bo, and his grandfather, Rudy Simpson, is a University of Florida Hall of Famer and was drafted by the Cleveland Indians.
