Indians set for 2025 football season with balanced schedule and October home stretch

FULTON, Miss. — The 2025 Itawamba Community College football schedule is set, and the Indians are eyeing another strong season with a balanced mix of home and away games, including three home games in October and a key rivalry matchup to close out the regular season.

The Indians will kick off the season under the lights at Eaton Field on Thursday, Aug. 28, when they host Hinds Community College in a 7 p.m. matchup. The opener gives the Indians an early chance to establish momentum at home, something they'll be eager to improve after going 2-3 in Fulton last season.

Road-Heavy Start

After the season opener, ICC hits the road for three consecutive weeks. They travel to Pearl River on Sept. 4, followed by a trip to East Central on Sept. 11 with an earlier 6:30 p.m. kickoff. The road stretch wraps up at Mississippi Delta on Sept. 25. Sandwiched between those two trips is a critical early home game against perennial MACCC powerhouse East Mississippi on Sept. 18. ICC won last year's meeting in thrilling fashion with a 36-34 victory in Scooba.

Rest, Then Rivalry

A bye week on Oct. 2 allows the Indians to reset before entering a decisive October stretch. The team will host Coahoma Community College for Homecoming on Oct. 9 at 7 p.m. The Indians defeated Coahoma 20-14 in last year's road matchup.

The following week, ICC travels to Holmes on Oct. 16, another early evening kickoff at 6:30. Then comes a home showdown against archrival Northeast Mississippi Community College on Oct. 23. This game consistently draws the largest and most energetic crowd of the season.

Season Finale at Northwest

The regular season wraps on Oct. 30 when ICC heads to Northwest Mississippi Community College, the defending MACCC champion. ICC will look to avenge last year's season-ending loss and potentially punch its ticket to postseason play.
