ICC drops heartbreaker in the Delta, 53-51

Moorhead, MS - ICC dropped a last-second heartbreaker, 53-51, at Mississippi Delta on Thursday.
After being called for five fouls in less than a minute, the Indians (10-7, 3-3 MACJC North) saw the Trojans (10-6, 2-3 MACJC) rally from the free throw line to tie the game 51-51 with 25 seconds left to play.
Dantaveous Crawford snuck behind the Indians' defense and hit a lay-up to give the Trojans a 53-51 lead with 6.3 left.
With no timeouts remaining, the Quenten Taylor (Edison, GA) raced the length of the floor and just missed a potential game-winning field goal as time expired.
Taylor finished the game with 9 points.
Howard Thomas (Brandon) paced ICC with 19 and Carter Sweat (Piperton,TN) added 12 in the loss.
Crawford had 10 and Travon Harper led Delta with 12 points.
ICC will return to the hardwood on Thursday when they play host to Coahoma Community College.
