CLARKSDALE, Miss. – The Indians held off an impressive second-half rally to pick up a 76-72 win at Coahoma on Tuesday.
Three Indians had a double-double in the win. Ma'Darius Hobson (Houlka) scored a game-high 21 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Travonta Doolittle (Hughes, Ark.) added 15 points and dished out 10 assists while Akeem Kirkwood (Weir) added 10 points and 11 rebounds on the night.
Shamar Brown (Olive Branch) had 14 and was a rebound away from a double-double.
The Indians will look to build on the win when they travel to Scooba to face North Division leading East Mississippi Thursday.
