PERKINSTON – The Itawamba Community College men's basketball team struggled as they fell on the road to Gulf Coast, 89-74, in Perkinston Thursday night.
Despite the loss, Bryson Dawkins (Ozark, Ala.) had a career night for the Indians as he led the team with 27 points while recording 12 rebounds, marking his fifth double-double of the season.
James Turner (Biloxi) also had 12 points while Dayveun Anderson (Tupelo) added 11 and Chris Minton (Indianola) and Marcel Bridges (Brandon), seven each.
The Indians (19-6, 5-5 MACCC) will be back in action on Monday, February 20 when they host Northwest in a 7:30 p.m. conference showdown at the Davis Event Center.
