Josh Lane
Assistant Basketball Coach
Josh Lane joined the Itawamba Community College men’s basketball staff as an assistant coach in 2024 after a successful stint at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. From 2022–2024, he served as UAB’s director of player relations, helping the Blazers capture the 2022 Conference USA Tournament Championship and the 2024 American Athletic Conference Tournament Championship. During his tenure, UAB made appearances in the 2022 and 2024 NCAA Tournaments and finished as the 2023 NIT runner-up.
A 2020 graduate of the Top Connect GA Leadership Academy, Lane has built a reputation for developing strong relationships with student-athletes and contributing to winning programs.
He earned his master’s degree in business administration from UAB in 2022.
Lane is one of seven siblings: Arianna, Chris, Evan, Aniyah, Aliyah, and Jordan.
