The ICC golf team opened the 2014 season in Gulfport at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Invitational at the Great Southern Golf Club on Sunday.
Chance Crawford (Houston) fired an opening round 78 (+7) to finish tied for 14th.
Adam Seahorn (Red Bay, AL) finished tied for 34th with a first round 83 (+12) while Mitch Doom (Ecru) and Justin Jensen (Pontotoc) shot an 86 (+15) to finished tied for 46th after Round One.
Charlie Uhiren (Houston) carded a 91 (+20) to close out the opening day of play tied for 54th and Dustin Jensen (Pontotoc) stands alone at 60th after turning in a round of 98 (+27) on Sunday.
Meridian Community College's Ty Medling was the overnight leader with a 69 (-2).
The Indians go into the second round of play tied with Hinds Community College for 9th place at 333 (+49) with Meridian leading the tournament with a 294 (+10) Round One total.
