FULTON, MS – Itawamba Community College Men's Soccer standout Thomas Blake has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his career at Belhaven University.
"I'm excited to play at Belhaven," said Blake. "They have a solid team and I'm excited to play two more years of soccer."
The Fulton native began his soccer career later than most as his high school didn't add soccer until 2012. However, Blake worked hard at his position and earned a scholarship from ICC Head Coach Mike Sullivan.
"I'm thankful for my high school coaches and Coach Sullivan for giving me the opportunity to play at ICC," said Blake. "I had a great time here (ICC), and made a lot of friends that I'm going to miss."
Blake played in nine game as a freshmen at ICC and earned two starts, but his hard work during the offseason earned the starting keeper job for his sophomore season where he started 13 of 14 games.

Last season, Blake made 57 saves and helped the Indians earn a big shutout victory over Jones County Junior College.
"He's been a great keeper for us for two years," said Sullivan. "He's fearless in the goal and anybody who's competing with him for the position at Belhaven is going to have their hands full."
Blake is the eighth Indians to sign with Belhaven since 2015 and will join former teammate Sabi Malli in Jackson next season.
"I'm really excited for Thomas," said Sullivan. "Belhaven's a great school that we've had several guys go to and have success and I'm excited that Thomas gets to continue his career there because he's a tireless worker that's going to fit that team really well."
Blake finished his career at ICC with 81 total saves over 23 games.
