Indians defeat Hinds 2-1 in division opener
In what is always a big battle in the North Division, ICC and Hinds renewed their rivalry Monday night and the Indians overcame and early goal to pick up the 2-1 victory.

Raymond, Miss. – In what is always a big battle in the North Division, ICC and Hinds renewed their rivalry Monday night and the Indians overcame and early goal to pick up the 2-1 victory.
Hinds struck first and quickly, scoring in the first few minutes of the contest, but the Indians were able to net the equalizer at the 14th minute off the foot of Jose Villanueva (Maylene, Ala.).
Villanueva would later put the Indians in front with is second goal of the contest just before halftime.
Brandon Tita-nwa (Olive Branch) and the Indian defense held Hinds scoreless in the second half to preserve the 2-1 win.
Next up for the Indians (2-2, 1-0 MACCC North) is a division showdown with East Central (2-1-1, 0-0-1 MACC North) Friday in Fulton. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. and will be available on LetsGoICCTV.com/red.
