Senatobia, Miss. – The Indians improved to a perfect 3-0 in North Division with a 3-1 road win over Northwest Wednesday.
Northwest drew first blood and scored at the sixth minute to take an early 1-0 lead, but the Indians (4-2, 3-0 MACCC North) would score three unanswered to pick up the win.
Billy Gipp (London, England) netted the equalizer on a hard shot that banked off the keeper at the 42nd minute to tie that contest at 1-1 heading into halftime.
After the break, the Indians scored quickly on a free kick from the other side of the pitch by Connor Murphy (Olive Branch) at the 46th minute.
Anthony Jones (Oxford) added the game's final goal at the 61st minute off a turnover just outside the box by the Rangers.
The Indians will take a one game break from division play as they travel to Andrew College Friday, before returning to Fulton to host North Division foe, Holmes, Tuesday, Sept. 28.
