Brown earns MACC and NJCAA Player of the Week honors
Russell Brown (New Orleans, La.) has been named Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) and National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DII Men’s Soccer Player of the Week.

FULTON, Miss. - Russell Brown (New Orleans, La.) has been named Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) and National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DII Men's Soccer Player of the Week.
The freshman forward scored three goals and had an assist to help the Indians go 2-0 last week. In a 3-2 win over Southern Union State, Brown had one goal and one assist. He scored two goals in a 7-0 win over East Mississippi to open conference play.
The Indians are currently 5-3-0 on the season and 2-0-0 in conference play. They will be back in action on Friday when they join the Lady Indians (9-1-0; 1-1-0 MACCC) in traveling to Holmes.
