Indians to compete in NJCAA Region 23 Championship Tournament
ICC Men’s Tennis have qualified for the NJCAA Region 23 Championship Tournament that will be held April 20-22.
Fulton, Miss. – Itawamba Community College Men's Tennis have qualified for the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 23 Championship Tournament on April 20-22.
The tournament is being hosted by Jones College and the Indians are the No. 4 seed. They will face No. 5 Northwest Mississippi Community College in the first round at 3:30 p.m. in Ellisville.
In the one meeting during the regular season, the Indians defeated the Rangers in Senatobia, 8-1.
Jones College, who is the No. 1 seed, is scheduled to start the opening round at 8:30 a.m. against No. 8 Copiah-Lincoln Community College.
The winner of both matches will square off in the semifinals, Friday at 10 a.m.

On the other side of the bracket, No. 3 Meridian Community College will face No. 6 Hinds Community College at 10:30 a.m. Thursday and No. 2 Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College takes on No. 7 East Central Mississippi Community College at 3:30 p.m.
