FULTON, Miss. – Joan Mateu Ramis Pascual has been selected to the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) Men's Tennis All-Conference team, according to an announcement on Monday.
The Manacor, Spain native held down No. 1 singles for the Indians this season, going 12-3 with conference wins over Co-Lin, Holmes, Gulf Coast, Northwest, East Central and Southwest. In doubles action, he teamed up with Knox Waterer (Belden) and combined for a 10-5 record across the season.
Ramis Pascual and his teammates placed third in the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament after defeating Northwest, 5-1, in the third place match on April 26. The Indians will be back in action for the NJCAA DI National Men's Tennis Championship Tournament at the Dr. Eddie Floyd Tennis Center in Florence, S.C., May 12-16.
