Indians receive MACCC Championship rings
The 2021 Itawamba Community College softball team received their MACCC Championship Rings during a ceremony Thursday night.
Fulton, Miss. – The 2021 Itawamba Community College softball team received their MACCC Championship Rings during a ceremony Thursday night.
Numerous players returned for the event and joined the now sophomores who helped the Indians win the MACCC Regular season title with a 25-3 conference record.

Overall, the Indians finished 36-9 and were ranked as high as No. 2 by the NJCAA during the season. They were also conference tournament runner-up and earned a trip to the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament.
The championship season was the third straight for the Indians as they won the regular season title in 2018 and the conference tournament in 2019, no champion crowned in 2020 due to COVID.

Head Coach Andy Kirk and his staff also earned MACCC Coaching Staff of the Year last season.
The 2021 team was also recognized during the men's basketball game against Northeast.
