Three ICC softball players sign with four-year universities
Three recent graduates of Itawamba Community College have signed to continue their softball careers at the next level.

Joryie McKnight - Delta State University
SO - OF - Pontotoc
McKnight led the Indians with a .342 batting average while driving in 13 runs and was also second on the team with 30 stolen bases. McKnight also posted an .880 fielding percentage in the field with 41 put outs and three assists. She went three-for-four at the plate with two RBI in ICC's 14-6 victory over No. 1 Patrick & Henry (Division III) on Feb. 8. McKnight joins the Statesmen that compete in the Gulf South Conference and are a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II member.
Laklyn Nichols - Blue Mountain Christian University
SO - OF - Mooreville
Nichols set the mark for fifth-most stolen bases in program history this past season with 33. She had a .299 batting average with 12 RBI on 41 hits. In the field, Nichols recorded 75 total put outs on 80 chances, averaging a .975 fielding percentage. She went two-for-two at the plate with two RBI in ICC's 17-0 win over Andrew College on Feb. 15. The Toppers are a member of both the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) and National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
Tayler Graham - Fort Valley State University
SO - UTL - Memphis, Tenn.
In her lone season with the Indians, Graham batted in 14 runs on 16 hits while recording a .958 fielding percentage with 64 put outs on 71 total chances. In ICC's 6-4 win over East Mississippi on April 9, she went two-for-three at the plate with three RBI. Located in Fort Valley, Ga., the Wildcats compete in NCAA Division II and are a member of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC).
