Four Lady Indians earn MACJC All-State postseason honors
Jameika Hoskins (Aberdeen HS) and LaPrecious Naylon (Greene Co HS, AL) earned first team honors while Vechatita Bonner (Wayne Co HS) was named to the second team with Shay Bonner (Starkville HS) earning one of three spots on the honorable mention list.
The Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) released its 2012 North Division All-State teams on Tuesday.
Jameika Hoskins (Aberdeen HS) and LaPrecious Naylon (Greene Co HS, AL) earned first team honors while Vechatita Bonner (Wayne Co HS) was named to the second team with Shay Bonner (Starkville HS) earning one of three spots on the honorable mention list.
"It's great for all four of our sophomores to be selected for these postseason honors," said ICC head coach Nanci Gray, who was named MACJC Women's Coach of the Year on Monday. "They are all deserving of these honors with all the hard work and dedication they have put not just this season, but also their entire careers here at ICC."
The 2012 MACJC Champion Lady Indians (24-2) will continue their postseason play tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. against Coahoma Community College in the National Junior College Athletic Association Region 23 Tournament at Mississippi College in Clinton, MS.
