Hoskins' jersey proudly hangs in the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame
The jersey of ICC All-American Jameika Hoskins (Aberdeen) is currently being displayed in the Ring of Honor at the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame.
The jersey of former Lady Indian and National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-American Jameika Hoskins is currently being displayed in the Ring of Honor at the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in Knoxville, Tenneesee.
The Aberdeen native averaged 14.9 points and 10.3 rebounds per game to help lead the Lady Indians (26-3) to the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) Women's North Division and State championships along with a runner-up finish in the NJCAA Region 23 tournament.
Hoskins signed with Southeastern Louisiana after being selected to the MACJC North All-Star team and being named MACJC All-State and NJCAA All-Region 23 and finishing the season ranked amongst the nation's Top 25 rebounders.
As a freshman, she was named to the NJCAA All-Region 23 Tournament Team and was selected MACJC All-State honorable mention.
The jersey will hang in the North Rotunda of the Hall during the 2012-13 sports season as part of the display celebrating the accomplishments of the nation's best high school and college student-athletes.
The Women's Basketball Hall of Fame opened in 1999 and is the only Hall of Fame of its kind, dedicated to all levels of women's basketball.
