Chills earns MACJC Women’s Player of the Week honors
For the second-straight week a member of the ICC Lady Indians’ basketball team has earn Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) Women’s Player of the Week and for the second time this season sophomore guard Jayla Chills has been selected for the honor.

FULTON, MS - For the second-straight week a member of the ICC Lady Indians' basketball team has earned Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) Women's Player of the Week.
For the second time this season that player has been sophomore guard Jayla Chills (Ripley).
Chills averaged 29 points per game last week to help the Lady Indians improve to 4-0 in the North and 13-2 overall with wins over Holmes and Northeast.
She scored 25 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in ICC's 85-79 win over Holmes while tying a career-high with 33 points in the Lady Indians' 97-96 overtime road victory over rival Northeast.
Chills follows fellow sophomore Kaelin Kneeland (Olive Branch) on being named MACJC Women's Player of the Week. She was named Player of the Week during Week Two and earned National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) National Player of the Week honors in November.
