ELLISVILLE, MS – Sophomore Jabria Pounds was selected to the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) All-Tournament Team at the conclusion on the tournament Thursday night.
The Nettleton native scored 18 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, and had five steals in the Lady Indians' opening round loss to Southwest Mississippi Community College.
Pounds and the Lady Indians (16-7) earned the No. 5 seed in next week's National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 23 Tournament against No. 3 seed Copiah-Lincoln Community College (20-4). The game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Mississippi College.
