Naylor, Rieves signs with Miles College
Recent Itawamba Community College graduates Ayonna Naylor of Clinton and Makayla Rieves of Columbus have both signed to continue their basketball careers at Miles College in Fairfield, Ala.
FULTON, Miss. – Recent Itawamba Community College graduates Ayonna Naylor of Clinton and Makayla Rieves of Columbus have both signed to continue their basketball careers at Miles College in Fairfield, Ala.
In her final season at ICC, Naylor averaged 6.7 points per game and recorded 144 rebounds and 30 blocks. She had a career-best 18-point performance in the Lady Indians' 69-59 win at Jones during the 2023-24 season.
Rieves recorded 112 rebounds along with 29 blocks and 19 steals. She had a season-high 14 points in the Lady Indians' 72-44 win over Freed-Hardeman last season.
Naylor and Rieves join the Lady Bears that compete in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) and are a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II member.
