FULTON, Miss. — The Lady Indians kept pace with No. 13 Shelton State early, but a difficult third quarter proved costly in a 70–58 loss on Thursday.
ICC led 21–16 after the first period and trailed only 35–34 at halftime before the Lady Bucs used a 21–8 third quarter to create separation.
Carlie Brock led the Lady Indians with 17 points on 8-of-16 shooting, adding five rebounds. Tootie Lockett scored 12 points and collected four rebounds, while Chloe Chism added 10 points and four boards.
