Lockett Earns Spot on All-Region 23 Team

FULTON, Miss. – Itawamba Community College sophomore guard Tootie Lockett has been selected to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Region 23 Women's Basketball Team, the conference announced Wednesday.

Lockett capped her ICC career with one of the conference's most complete seasons, leading the Lady Indians with 15.0 points per game while adding 83 assists and 44 steals. She turned in a career-best performance on Feb. 26, pouring in 29 points in ICC's 84-46 victory over Holmes.

Her standout campaign earned her multiple honors, including MACCC Player of the Week on March 11, First Team All-MACCC recognition and MACCC Women's Basketball Player of the Year.

The Lady Indians finished the 2025-26 season with a 22-8 overall record with a 12-2 mark in MACCC play and an appearance in the Region 23 semifinals.
