Lady Indians fall in overtime to East Central
After winning an overtime thriller to starter division play Monday, the Lady Indians dropped a 2-1 decision in overtime to East Central Friday.

Fulton, Miss. – After winning an overtime thriller to starter division play Monday, the Lady Indians dropped a 2-1 decision in overtime to East Central Friday.
The Lady Indians (2-3, 1-1 MACCC North) and Lady Warriors were in a scoreless battle for most of the first half, but at the 35th minute East Central netted the game's first goal.
Trailing 1-0, the Lady Indians were able to net the equalizer 69th minute off the foot of Lexi Loden (Saltillo).
Anna Kate Trost (Oxford) made some big saves in the second half to keep the game tied at 1-1 and helped the defense force overtime.
In the overtime period, the Lady Indians had a few scoring chances early on, but the Lady Warriors made the golden goal to pick up the 2-1 win in extra time.
The Lady Indians will host No. 2 Holmes Tuesday in a rematch of last season's conference finals. Kickoff for the North Division matchup is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. in Fulton and will be available on LetsGoICCTV.com/red.
