Soccer to host Meet The Indians Aug. 14

Fulton, Miss. – After a one-year hiatus, the Itawamba Community College soccer programs will host their annual Meet The Indians event Saturday, Aug. 14.

The event has been modified from past years, but will give fans an opportunity to get to know this year's men's and women's teams and see them take the field at the ICC Soccer Complex on the Fulton Campus.

To start the day, both teams will be introduced at 11 a.m., followed by the Lady Indians playing a scrimmage against a team of alumni players. The Indians will wrap up the day with an intrasquad at 12:30 p.m.

Both squads are scheduled to open the 2021 season Aug. 20 at Copiah-Lincoln. The women will play their first home game Aug. 31 against Southwest Tennessee, and the men will host Mississippi Gulf Coast Sept. 3 in their first home stand.
