Wesson, Miss. – Itawamba Community College women's soccer battled on the road with the undefeated Co-Lin Community College Lady Wolves but dropped a 1-0 decision.
The Lady Indians (5-3, 1-1 MACCC) had scoring chances during the contest but two of their best came in the second half when Beth Lloyd (Failsworth, England) put a shot on frame with 31 minutes left to play.
After the Lady Wolves (7-0-1, 2-0 MACCC) netted the game's lone goal at the 66th minute, Addison Pletzke (Clinton) put a strong shot on net with 24 minutes left in the contest off a free kick.
Co-Lin was able to keep the Lady Indians chances at bay and pick up the win.
The Lady Indians will host Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Tuesday for another big conference showdown at 2 p.m. in Fulton.
