FULTON, Miss. – The Lady Indians picked up a 4-0 victory over East Central on Sophomore Day.
Juliana Motes (Fulton) put ICC on the board first when she scored from close distance with 20:56 left in the first half, then Millie Webb (Rugby, England) made it a 2-0 lead on a free kick heading into halftime. After the break, Vanessa Baugatz (Berlin, Germany) got the Lady Indians their third goal of the contest, and Lauren Sharples (Liverpool, England) made it 4-0 with 26:56 left to play.
Baugatz, Motes, Liv Norris (Hernando), Sharples and Webb each had a shot on goal in the victory.
Annabelle Holman (Amory) recorded three saves while Kyla Kate Huffman (Pelahatchie) added one.
Next up, the Lady Indians will face Hinds on Friday, Oct. 25 for a 5 p.m. match in Raymond.
