Lady Indians slide to No. 21 in latest ITA rankings
The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has released its latest JUCO Women’s Rankings, with the Lady Indians falling to No. 21 in the updated NJCAA Top 25 Coaches Poll.
FULTON, MS – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has released its latest JUCO Women's Rankings, with the Lady Indians falling to No. 21 in the updated NJCAA Top 25 Coaches Poll.
The ITA rankings, determined by votes from the ITA National Ranking Committee, reflect the top teams in the nation based on recent performance and overall strength. Itawamba, which was previously ranked higher, now finds itself in the No. 21 spot as programs continue to battle for positioning in the highly competitive NJCAA landscape.
Hillsborough remains atop the rankings at No. 1, followed closely by St. Petersburg and Tyler rounding out the top three. Other Mississippi-based teams joining Itawamba in the rankings include Jones (No. 10), Mississippi Gulf Coast (No. 12), Northwest Mississippi (No. 19), Co-Lin (No. 20), East Central (No. 22), and Hinds (No. 23).
