East picks up MACCC Offensive Player of the Week honors

FULTON, Miss. – Michael Ann East has been named Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.
The sophomore outside hitter from Brandon turned in an impressive week, tallying 37 kills and three assists across 13 sets to help the Indians post a 2-1 record in the second week of conference play.
East and her teammates will be back in action on Wednesday, Sept. 17, when they host Pearl River at 5 p.m. in the Davis Event Center.
