Fulton, Miss. – The Indians dropped a 3-1 decision to Hinds Thursday.
After a scoreless and hard fought first half, the Indians and Hinds were in a tight battle for first place in the North Division. However, Hinds struck quickly in the second half scoring the game's first goal two minutes after halftime.
Hinds added goals at the 55th minute and the 69th minute to extend their lead to 3-0, but the Indians cut into the lead late on a Carson O'Daniel (Tupelo) goal at the 85th minute.
Despite the Indians late goal, the lead was too much to overcome and Hinds picked up the 3-1 win.
The Indians will be on the road for their next two North Division matches as they travel to East Central Tuesday and Holmes Friday.
