Indians take down Hinds, 4-1
ICC men’s soccer team had to wait out lightning delays prior to the game, but had plenty of electricity on the field once play begin defeating Hinds, 4-1.

Fulton, Miss. - The Itawamba Community College men's soccer team had to wait out lightning delays prior to the game, but had plenty of electricity on the field once play begin defeating Hinds Community College, 4-1.
The Indians (3-1) scored all four of their goals before Hinds netted one later the contest.
Gage Lashlee (Olive Branch) opened the scoring as he banked one in off the post on a free kick at the 30th minute.
Sammy Gallardo (Saltillo) and JB Purvis (Byhalia) teamed up for the Indians' second goal when Purvis put a good shot on net that bounced off the post and Gallardo scored off the rebound for his first this season.
At the 74th minute, Anthony Jones (Oxford) scored his first goal of the season to extend the lead to 3-0.
Billy Gipp (London, England) scored his second of the season and the Indians' final of the game at the 76th minute with a hard strike past the keeper.
The Eagles (0-3-1) scored their lone goal at the 80th minute, but the Indians' lead was too big to mount a comeback.
Next up for the Indians is a non conference matchup with Meridian Community College Tuesday. Opening kick is scheduled for 2 p.m. in Fulton.
