Indians suffer first conference loss at Co-Lin

Wesson, Miss. – Itawamba Community College men's soccer suffered their first conference loss, falling 6-2 to Co-Lin Community College Friday.
The Indians (4-2, 1-1 MACCC) scored the game's first goal as Billy Gipp (London, England) scored on a penalty kick at the 7th minute. Co-Lin quickly netted the equalizer at the 16th minute and took the lead at the 20th minute on a header just over the keeper.
At the 27th minute, the Wolves (5-1-1, 2-0 MACCC) extend the lead to 3-1 and added another goal at the 38th minute to take a 4-1 advantage.
Ethan Scott (Olive Branch) cut the lead to 4-2 at the 43rd minute, to put the Indians within striking distance at halftime.
The Wolves held off the Indians in the second half and added goals at the 78th and 84th minute to secure the 6-2 conference win.
Tuesday the Indians will look to rebound in conference play when they host Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College at 4 p.m. in Fulton.
