Coach Carson Owens said the day was a special one for Montgomery and the Indians as a whole.
"So proud of Ramsey for breaking the strikeout record," Owens said. "That's a really big deal. And to do it on a day when she and Lizzie threw a perfect game, what a moment."
Owens also pointed to ICC's offensive approach after the Indians scored 31 runs in the doubleheader.
"I'm also really proud of our offense," Owens said. "We swung the bats really well, so I hope we carry a lot of confidence into this weekend."
With a strong Co-Lin team up next, Owens said his squad understands the challenge ahead.
"We'll have to play really well against a really good Co-Lin team," Owens said. "I'm excited for the opportunity, and I think our team is too."
