Lady Indians pull away late to beat Delta, 66-49
Despite Shaniyah Buford missing the game due to injury, the Lady Indians used a strong fourth quarter to pick up their ninth-straight victory with a 66-49 win over Mississippi Delta on Thursday.

FULTON, Miss. – Despite Shaniyah Buford (Abbeville) missing the game due to injury, the Lady Indians used a strong fourth quarter to pick up their ninth-straight victory with a 66-49 win over Mississippi Delta on Thursday.
Leading 26-23 at halftime, the Lady Indians (11-2, 3-0 MACJC North) outscored the Lady Trojans (3-9, 1-2 MACJC North) 21-11 in the fourth quarter to remain unbeaten in North Division play.
Taneshia Miller (Greenville) recorded her sixth double-double of the season by scoring 10 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. Tabreea Gandy (Starkville) scored 15 while Kealy Wilson (Olive Branch) added 12 in her first-ever collegiate start.
ICC will be in back in action Tuesday night at Coahoma. The Lady Tigers are 5-9 on the season and 0-4 in North Division play. The First American Bank opening tip is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. and will be available on CoahomaSports.com/watch.
