Fulton, Miss. – The Indians defeated Bevill State 3-0 and held them to single digits in two sets.
To pick up the 3-0 win, the Indians won the sets, 25-14, 25-8 and 25-8.
Leading the offensive attack was Mary Leslie Cranford (Covington, Tenn.) with a team-high 12 kills followed by Zakhia Taylor (Olive Branch) with seven.
Morgan Lee (Olive Branch) picked up 24 assists and Londyn Bakeris (Olive Branch) picked up 12 digs.
The Indians will host Northwest tomorrow for a big regional showdown starting at 4pm.
