MERIDIAN, Miss. – After a 40-minute delay, the Indians cruised to a 4-0 win over Meridian in the Rush Invitational Saturday night.
How It Happened
Brendan Koehn (Amory) scored off an assist from Luan Balestieri (Rio Grande, Brazil) to give the Indians a 1-0 in the 3rd minute. The score would stay the same throughout the rest of the first half.
Clayton O'Daniel (Tupelo) gave the Indians a 2-0 advantage in the 49th minute off the second assist of the match from Balestieri.
Jake Kirkpatrick (Amory) pushed the lead out to 3-0 off an assist from Bryan Vogel (New Albany).
Brian Huckaby (Saltillo) put the Indians up 4-0 in the 84th minute off an assist from Weston Mitchell (Corinth).

Tita-nwa recorded his second clean sheet of the season to help the Indians improve to 7-3-0 on the year.
